How can I obtain historical information on draw results?

There is a link "Previous Draws" on the main menu of each page that can lead you to pages that have historical information on their draws, viz.: Previous Draw Results and Frequencies of Numbers.

How are prizes paid out for the Lotto and Super 6 games?

A.

For the Lotto game, prizes are paid for matching four (4) and three (3) numbers. For the Super 6 game, prizes are paid for matching five (5) and four (4) numbers.

Are the draws done long before they are aired?

A.

Yes. Usually, the draws are done at 8:00pm and are aired at 9:00 and 10:00 depending on the game.

Are some of the balls heavier than the others?

A.

All balls are weighed prior to every draw to ensure that all balls are of a similar weight range.

Q.

Can the drawn numbers be controlled?

A.

No. Prior to the draw, all balls are weighed to ensure that they all fall within a similar weight range. The machines used for the draw allow all the balls to circulate freely and evenly, therefore the numbers which pop-up are random.

How is the Lotto and Super 6 jackpot won?

A.

The Lotto Jackpot is won when the five (5) numbers on a ticket purchased for a draw matches the five (5) numbers selected by the draw machine for that same draw. Similarly, the Super 6 jackpot is won when the six (6) numbers on a ticket purchased for a draw matches the six (6) numbers chosen for that draw.

What time is the Lotto/ Super 6 draw aired and on what channel?

All Draws are aired at DBS. The Super 6 draw is aired at 10:00 pm on Tuesdays and Fridays on DBS, channel 35. Lotto draw is aired at 9:00 pm on Wednesday and Saturday on DBS, channel 35.

What is the purpose of the website?

The Website has been created to provide information about the operations of the Lottery, Draw information, Jackpot levels, Winners, news and press releases, donations made by the Lottery to Youth and sports organisations and to communicate with Lottery patrons.

Q.

How is the Lotto Calculated. Based on what criteria?

A.

The lotto is calculated based on how many tickets are purchased. If for instance 100 tickets are purchased, then a percentage of the amount received plus the previous collection is added together to get the final cost for the lottery.
